How often do you update your online shop?

I add new pottery to the shop throughout the year as pieces become available. For updates on new work and upcoming shop releases, sign up for my email list or follow Mountain Sky Pottery on Instagram and Facebook.

Is your pottery microwave and dishwasher safe?

Pieces intended for food and drink are made with food-safe glazes and are microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted. As with all ceramics, pieces can chip or break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface, so please handle them with care.

Do you ship?

Yes. I ship to the contiguous United States via USPS. Ready-to-ship pieces are typically mailed within 1–5 business days, and tracking and insurance are provided.

Pottery requires careful packaging to arrive safely. I reuse shipping materials when possible to reduce waste. If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the box, packaging and damaged piece and contact me as soon as possible.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Yes. Select local pickup at checkout and you will not be charged for shipping. I will contact you within 1–2 days to arrange a pickup time and mutually agreeable location in the Chattanooga area.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

I don't currently offer gift wrapping, but I'm happy to include a gift message with your order.

Will my piece look exactly like the photos?

Because each piece is handmade, variations in size, shape, glaze color and texture are part of the process. Approximate dimensions—and capacity for drinkware—are included in each product listing.

I do my best to photograph each piece accurately, but colors can vary slightly depending on your screen. Please review the measurements and photos before purchasing, and feel free to contact me with questions about a particular piece.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

I want you to be happy with your pottery. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please contact me within 5 days of delivery and return the item within 7 days of delivery.

Please contact me before sending anything back so we can determine the best way to proceed. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Do you accept cancellations?

I don't accept cancellations, but please contact me if there is a problem with your order.

Do you accept custom orders?

Custom orders are considered on a limited basis. Please contact me to discuss your project.
